Legal Considerations for Terminations and Layoffs
Legal considerations and advice from Wendy Sellers, The HR Lady, for conducting terminations and layoffs, even if they are not called layoffs. Be concerned if you have involuntarily terminated more than 1 person in the past 6 months.
"Oh, we choose people based on performance/ behavior not demographics. Oh so you discuss performance/ behavior with employees and document that too? Umm, nope. Well....you have legal concerns then."
